About The Blog

Why this, Why now?

Both extremely valid questions, to which I fail to draw succinct answers. At best, I can say that this blog is a demonstration of active obedience, the pursuit of authenticity and a total surrender to vulnerability with The Lord.

In all honesty, I have flirted with the idea of starting a blog for almost 3 years now. In retrospect, I’m thankful for just how sovereign God is over ALL things, including my reluctance/disobedience!

The entire premise of “My Mustard Seed Faith” sprouted from a collation of tough seasons that The Lord has faithfully brought me through over the past few years, and a culmination of everything that He has gracefully revealed (and is still revealing!) in the midst of challenging seasons.

“Truly I tell you, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” – Matthew 17:20

Sequoia Trees can reach heights of approximately 286 feet and have a lifespan of 2,700+ years

The marriage of the mustard seed and imagery of the sequoia tree throughout this blog is a projection that bears much significance, and is something that I am super excited about sharing with you all in upcoming posts!

My commitment to this blog isn’t to an audience, but wholly to what I believe The Lord is calling me to do. All of my hopes and expectations of what’s to come of this rest securely in His hands. With that being said, I am so excited to watch The Lord work as I pry open the shutters of my life and allow you all into the refining heart work that He has begun, and has promised to faithfully complete in me, and in all those who believe in Him (Philippians 1:6).

As I fully submit to the wordless groans and guidance of the Holy Spirit, I am absolutely sure that The Lord is gearing up to do “A New Thing” (Isaiah 43:19) in and through us all!

Please pray for ya girl as I venture into the stretching discomfort of the wilderness (this blog!) and I will be fervently praying for every single person that The Lord leads to this site.

God is better than EVERY created thing.

Keep pressing in…

He’s worth it!
